Content Revival

Get your content marketing going again after a break

Did you used to blog regularly but for some reason you stopped?

It happens. And your business might have shifted in the meantime. Are you offering the same services? Are you serving the same group of people?

Now you want to get back into content marketing. After all, it used to serve you well. But you feel like you’re starting from scratch again, and that’s a bit dispiriting.

What if you didn’t have to? What if we went through your existing body of work and looked at what you could freshen up, repurpose, and get out there right now?

While that content is raising your visibility, you can start working on some new articles. And all that effort you put into creating your original bank of content wouldn’t go to waste.

Content Revival gives you a content marketing plan for your business now and breathes new life into your existing content.

See your content marketing from a new angle

Sometimes we’re so close to our businesses that we can’t see the material we already have available to us. I’ll work with you to identify what you can use now, what you need to update, and what you could do with adding to your content bank.

What you will achieve with Content Revival

Start sharing content immediately

You will have material you can share on social media and with your list from the first session.

Get an up to date content marketing strategy

We’ll set up your content pillars and map out a plan for what you put within them so you’re able to see what fits where and stay on brand.

Know what your next steps are

You’ll have clarity and confidence to work with your existing content and develop new articles.

Breathe new life into your content marketing

Hi, I'm Rachel

I’ve been blogging since I began my business in 2017 and it has built my reputation. It brings new people to my website every day. I won Blogger of the Year at the Digital Women Awards in 2020.

Before I set up my copywriting and content marketing business, I worked as a journalist. I can spot gems of information and stories in all kinds of places.

You’ve worked hard to create the articles you’ve already got. Let’s breathe new life into them and get them out into the world, sharing your knowledge, expertise and personality with your clients.

What you'll do during Content Revival

Deep focus on who you are and who you serve

Develop your key messages and how they fit together

Look at what you can be sharing immediately

Update existing content to bring it back to life

Create new material to fill in gaps in your content bank

Repurpose your content so it works hard for you

How it works

We’ll work together over 3 sessions to revive your content marketing. You book a time that suits you. I suggest we meet every 2-3 weeks.

Each call is 90 minutes (although you might want to block 2 hours out of your diary so you don’t have to cut short if you’re in the zone. You might also want a brain break afterwards!)

We’ll work directly on your material during the calls.

In between each call, you are welcome to send me two blog posts for review.

I’ll also do some keyword research in between the first and second call so we have that available to us.

What we'll do in each session

Session 1: Create your content plan

  • We’ll look at who you are and who your customers are. I’ll ask you lots of questions and we’ll map out your content pillars and the sub-topics you would put in each one.
  • We’ll look at what material you already have that fits within those that could be shared immediately.
  • We’ll also have a look at your website analytics, if you’ve got them, and see what people are looking at on your website.
  • We’ll agree what you will work on before our next call. This could be revising content you already have, or writing new articles.

Session 2: Make the most of what you've got

  • Following our first session, we know what your content themes are and you’ve hopefully shared an article or two with me between calls. Now we’ll map out the next two or three articles together.
  • For the second part of the call we’ll work together to pull out key lines from the content we have identified so far. I’ll work with you to repurpose your material to create posts for LinkedIn. If you are on Twitter or Instagram, I’ll give you ideas for those too.

Session 3: Set yourself up for success

  • We’ll start by going through the two articles you’ve written since our last call.
  • Then, if you haven’t already, we’ll map out how to repurpose them.
  • We’ll discuss how you got on with creating the new content and strategies for helping you come up with ideas and produce your next articles.
  • You’ll leave with a plan for the next 6 articles you can create and knowing how to make the most of every piece of content you produce.

Start by getting a free mini content audit

Would you like some feedback on your content now? I’ll do a mini content audit and give you an action you can take immediately. All you need to do is book a call and fill in a form. Then I’ll have a look at your website and give you feedback when we speak.

  • You don’t want to do the work yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you repurposed your videos / podcasts into blog posts then yes, we can go through the material and pull out lines we can use to promote existing videos/podcast episodes. The content plan will work whatever kind of content you create, and instead of writing articles between calls, you can produce new episodes. However, we won’t be able to update existing content with new information or calls to action.

That depends. Can you find two hours a week? Each call is 90 minutes so if you can schedule those, then you could make a regular time each week when you will work on your content marketing.

All calls take place online, using Zoom.

You are welcome to record the calls.

Yes. We’ll agree what you need to do before the next session. It will either be updating posts, with guidance, or writing at least one new one.

I will give you access to my diary so you can book calls in at a time that suits you. If you can’t find a suitable slot, get in touch with me and we’ll arrange it.
