7 reasons to come to my content creation masterclass

I know there are a lot of online events happening at the moment. You’ve spent a lot of time on Zoom and might be feeling a tad bored of staring at a screen (and your own face). Yet here I am asking you to come along to my masterclass on how to create content when you’re short of time. Here are 7 reasons why I think you should.

1. Your business needs to be visible right now

This year has been tough and we can all be tempted to hide under the duvet. If that’s what you need to do for your sanity, do it, but people need to see your business. They need to see your name, your products and services, know what you do and why they need it. If you are not actively promoting your business you are restricting the number of people who will buy from you.

This masterclass will show you quick and easy actions you can take to create content which showcases your business and who you are. You can hit publish and then if you want to curl up on the sofa you can.

2. Taking action makes you feel better

You might not feel like marketing right now but once you start putting ideas down and creating content, you will start to feel more in control.

I said I would run this masterclass and put tickets live the day before the second Lockdown was announced for England. I confess, I lost my mojo pretty quickly. But once I started coming up with social media posts, Instagram reels, and sharing it more widely I felt more positive about it.

This masterclass is all about taking action. It’s not a whole load of theory and then I send you off with nothing to show for it. You are going to have concrete ideas on paper before the end and, if you want to, you can create a piece of content during the session too.

Starting is the hardest part. I’m going to get you out of the blocks.

3. You will be creating original marketing for your business

I’m going to share five strategies with you to help you start marketing your business right away. I’m not going to tell you what to write or offer cookie cutter solutions.

By using these strategies you can come up with content which is unique to you. You can choose what kind of content you produce and where you want to share it. The topics will all be up to you. This means that your marketing will stand out.

4. You get a workbook to help you plan your marketing

You will have a workbook which will help you plan out your marketing. This will help you focus on who your audience is and create content that will appeal to them. You will have a record of what we have worked through, and you won’t be starting from scratch because you will come up with topics to write about or talk about during the session.

It’s a digital document so you can reuse it. You can choose to fill it out online or print off pages as you need them.

5. You will get lots of encouragement

Creating content and putting it out into the world takes guts. So does running your own business. I know you might be out of your comfort zone while you are doing this. Don’t worry, I’m here for you.

There are lots of things that hold us back when it comes to creating content. It’s not just about coming up with ideas but perfectionism, and wondering what people will think.

I’ll be cheering you on and showing you how creating content is helpful not just for you, but for your customers.

6. Time to work on your business

Do you find you are so busy working IN your business that you don’t get the opportunity to work ON your business? This session won’t just get you thinking about content for social media or your blog / YouTube channel, if you have one, it will help you think about your business too.

Why is this important? Because we need time to take stock of what we are doing and why we are doing it. It’s easy to get lost in the day to day. Taking a step back enables us to look at what is working and what is not, and to….

7. Spot opportunities

There’s nothing like thinking around a topic to come up with new ideas. This isn’t just about how you talk about your business but you might spot new things you could be doing, or something you could dust off and refresh.

I would love to see you at How To Create Content When You Are Short Of Time. It’s on November 12, 2020 at 12pm. You don’t need to go anywhere to buy a ticket, you can book right here.
